With the last match soon to take place on 21st March 2015, the World Rugby Rankings are looking more promising than ever.

The latest match saw Ireland gain victory over England, which means once again they are the leading northern hemisphere nation in this year’s rankings. They reclaimed this after winning with a 19-9 victory in Dublin last Sunday. Ireland is now less than two points behind the second leaders in the rankings table, South Africa.

In addition, Wales have increased their space on the table over France to almost four points, after a tremendous 20-13 win over Les Bleus at the Stade de France last weekend. Although their win still keeps them in position six, there’s more hope for the official tournament to begin in September.
