Peterson’s annual reserve pipe tobacco 2012

I am please to say Peterson annual reserve pipe tobacco 2012 is now available to purchase on the uktobacco web site. This fine tobacco is a blend of tobaccos that has been specially selected for connoisseurs with high expectations. Using two kinds of black Cavendish, one sweet and fresh the other with a hint of chocolate are blended together with brown cavendish and three different Virginias, rounded off with a hint of exclusiv, hand cut Virginia and Burley flake. The aroma of this mixture is delicate, sweet and creamy and results in a fragrance of coffee, chocolate and caramel.
Coming soon we also hope to have another Peterson limited edition pipe tobacco, Summertime time blend 2012. Watch this space!

NEW POSTAL RATES

Would all customers please note that with immediate effect 1st class P&P will increase to £2.99 per order and £7.99 for Royal Mail Insured. This regrettable rise is due to an increase in postal costs by Royal Mail, effective from the 2nd April 2012, having adsorbed previous price increases for the past three years we have had no option but to pass them on this time.

We only have one of each pipe in stock and these will be sold on a first come first served basis.

Just launced in the UK are 4 new Cigars made in the Dominican Republic by Macanudo. Macanudo 1968 boasts a bold new taste that perfectly balances the cigars fuller bodied tobaccos. Aged in tercios and charcoaled wooden barrels to further enrich its flavour, the blend marries Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco to a proprietary filler cultivated exclusively for General Cigar on the remote island of Ometepe. These tobaccos were developed expressly to complement the Connecticut Habano binder and the flawless Honduran San Agustin wrapper. They are available in the following sizes – Corona 5″ long with a ring gauge of 42, Rothschild 4.5″ long with a ring gauge of 50, Robusto 5.5″ long with a ring gauge of 50 and Titan 4″ long and with a ring gauge of 60. Price ranges from £8.95 to £11.95 per stick.
